Register Your Child for WYC's 2025 Season!

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 SEASON IS NOW CLOSED.

We're accepting athletes who are entering kindergarten through 8th grade. (Preschool programming is not offered at this time.)
 
2025 Registration includes:

Kindergarten-2nd Grade

-Sideline cheerleading opportunities

-Uniforms include WYC t-shirt & bow

-Stunting, dancing, and some tumbling coaching
 

3rd-8th Grade

-Sideline cheerleading opportunities

-Uniforms include a WYC t-shirt, (1) Eagle monogramed Chasse sweetheart shell top, a-line skirt, boy-cut brief (for modesty), socks & bow

-Stunting, dancing, and some tumbling coaching

Games will be most Sundays. Friday and Saturday events will be planned in conjunction with the football program schedule or at community events. 

 

Regular attendance at practices, games, and events is required of all athletes.
 

Commitment Required:

Grades: K-2 

Games: 1 hour flag football games Sundays, Windham location only

Practices: 45 min-1 hour practice 1 evening per week

Events: Fall Festival, Flag Tournament, Youth Recognition Night at a High School football game, Showcase

 

Grades: 3-4 

Games: All home and away games-Sundays, approx 2.5 hour commitment, local travel (Auburn, Falmouth, etc.)

Practices: Two 1-hour evening practices per week (REQUIRED)

Events: Fall Festival, Homecoming, Youth Recognition Night at a High School football game, Showcase

 

Grades: 5-8

Games: Attend all home and away games-Sundays approx 2.5 hour commitment, occasional Saturday games, local travel (Auburn, Falmouth, etc.)

Practices: Two to three 1.5-2 hour practices per week (REQUIRED)

Events: Homecoming, Youth Recognition Night at a High School football game, 7/8th Grade WYF Spirit Night/8th Grade Promotion night, Showcase

Length of Season:

Our fall season typically runs from mid-August (3rd-8th grade) or just after Labor Day (K-2nd teams) until the first week of November.  Game schedules will be made available around Labor Day weekend.  Practice schedules should be available before registration closes, watch the website and social media FMI.

Parents are responsible for the following supplies:

Shoes: 

For grades K-2: all white lightweight/flexible sneakers 

For grades 3-8: all white cheerleading shoes required

 

All Black Accessories:

For warmer months: all black shorts or skort

For colder months: cotton or fleece leggings (not slippery), upper underlayers, gloves, & headband
