Kindergarten-8th Grade Registration Includes:
-Sideline cheerleading opportunities
-WYC t-shirt & bow for athletes to keep
-Stunting, dancing, and some tumbling coaching
-New this season: WYC will provide USE of a traditional sideline cheerleading uniform, including (1) Eagle monogramed Chasse sweetheart shell top and an a-line skirt. Monogramed top shells and skirts must be returned at the end of the season.
Games will be most Sundays. Friday and Saturday events will be planned in conjunction with the football program schedule or at community events.
Regular attendance at practices, games, and events is required for all athletes, especially those in grades 3rd-8th and will affect performance participation if practices and events are missed per Athlete Code of Conduct.
Length of Season:
Our fall season typically runs from mid-August until the first week of November. Game schedules will be made available around Labor Day weekend. Practice schedules should be available before registration closes, watch the website and social media FMI.
Parents are responsible for the following supplies:
New this season!
SHOES:
For grades K-2: all BLACK lightweight/flexible sneakers
For grades 3-8: all BLACK cheerleading shoes required
BLACK Accessories and Under Layers:
For warmer months: all black, fitted under shorts no longer than their align skirts *under shorts NOT included in uniform*
For colder months: all black, cotton or fleece leggings (not slippery), upper underlayers, gloves, & headband
All athletes, parents, and volunteers will be required to agree to the Windham Youth Cheerleading Code of Conduct before participating in a WYC program or event.

Commitment Required:
Grade K-1st
Games: 1 hour flag football games Sundays, Windham location only
Practices K-1st grade: One 1-hour practice 1 evening per week
Events: Fall Festival, Flag Tournament, Youth Recognition Night at a High School football game, Showcase
Grade 2
Games: 1 hour flag football games Sundays, Windham location only
Practices 2nd grade: One 90-minute practice 1 evening per week
Events: Fall Festival, Flag Tournament, Youth Recognition Night at a High School football game, Showcase
Grades 3rd/4th
Games: All home and away games-Sundays, approx 2 hour commitment, expect local travel (Auburn, Falmouth, etc.)
Practices 3rd/4th grade: Two 1-hour evening practices per week (REQUIRED)
Events: Fall Festival, Homecoming, Youth Recognition Night at a High School football game, Showcase
Grades 5th/6th
Games: All home and away games-Sundays, approx 2 hour commitment, expect local travel (Auburn, Falmouth, etc.)
Practices 5th/6th grade: One 2-hour and one 90-minute evening practices per week (REQUIRED)
